hi everyone, if you want to see one of the largest capoeira academies in North America and also Participate in one of North Americas largest Capoeira event then vancouver is the place to be in July. July 1st is the opening of the new location which is just half a block from our current location. we are moving from 150 west hastings to: 45 west hastings. the new academy will be in the main floor, with hardwood floors, 20 feet ceillings, huge loft, and a 3000SQF basement! this place is ready to go, altogether this space is a total of 6500SQF! we will have the same classes for now but eventually we will have more classes added to our program. aside from the new academy the international capoeira festival will be happening in Vancouver july 15-19th, 2009. there will be 3 main guest mestres: Mestre Barrao Mestre King Mestre boi and about 20 other guests, many people will be coming so make sure to prepare yourself to one of the most exiting times in vancouver and experience first hand the grand opening and the event at the same time i hope to see everyone there, salve & axe Prof. barraozinho
