Help Needed

My name is Shane and I first became interested in capoeira at the age of six. well, the problem being that i live in Wichita, KS in the middle of the USA. And capoeira instructors are hard to find around here. if anyone can give me any tips on how to become a capoeirista it would be greatly appreciated...

You need guidance and instruction to become a capoeirista, and it's not something you are going to get over the internet. There are two cities in KS that have classes you can attend, Lawrence, KS and Kansas City. I suggest you make the drive and you are more than welcome to crash at one of the students houses or mine if need be.

He's 1000% right. If you really want to learn you have to be taught. You have to train with others at your level and above. You'll learn nothing on your own with DVDs or the Internet. Come train with us for a few days. We'll put you up. Capoeira's cool like that.

I googled and saw there was one one in Praire Village, KS too. It might be the one that Tucano mentioned in Kansas City, not sure. My American Geograpy is foggy, living in Vancouver. Anyway, it's on 3809 w 95th st. (913) 271-3625. Probably about 3hrs or so from you.
